Eating Out

There are lots of fantastic places to eat out and to help you plan the perfect holiday you can print of this map here to help you enjoy your trip.
There is a wide selection of very good restaurants in and around the village and some within walking distance. Clearly this depends on your own palate but we would recommend the following;
L’Orange:
Dutch owned but a wide variety of very good dinners. This is accessible via the back gate close to the unit (max 5 mins walk). It is very popular so we would suggest you book 1 or 2 night’s in advance. A card is at the back of this guide. Tel: (00351) 282 357 297
Tia IIda:
Italian restaurant on the coast road down to the village on the left hand side not too far away from the Indian restaurant. Stunning views to the sea on the top floor. Again as well as the usual pasta dishes there is a good choice of meat dishes etc. Tel; (00351)282 357 830
Elliotts:
Can be located by turning right out of the back gate and following the road to the Phoenix nights pub. There is a village square down a cul-de sac which has several restaurants including a couple of hot stone ones. Tel; (00351) 282 356 096
Onze:
On the opposite side of the beach to T‘Ilida. Very smart/chic and a good selection on the menu. Not the cheapest and potentially “pretentious”! (but worth a visit). Tel; (00351) 282 357 427
Rei da Pria:
One of our favourites is this restaurant on stilts that overlooks the beach at Canerios. It is on the way to Ferragudo on the coast road so you will need a car. Turn left out of the resort and head for the watertower and follow the signs for Ferragudo and Portimoa. It gets booked up so you need to book in advance.
